Our Church
- We are a group of people from different backgrounds and we believe God has placed us here to represent the Lord Jesus Christ and to share the good news about Him.
- We endeavour to be the kind of church outlined in the Bible - to be genuine, relevant and to encourage each member to be passionately committed to a growing personal relationship with God
- We have a strong emphasis on youth and a genuine concern for our community and overseas missions.
We encourage every member to help our church grow by - using the special talents God has given to each one of us
- We are an independent evangelical
church, not accountable to any central governing body.
Here at the Rosedale Bible Chapel we believe that among others the following are important Bible truths. The leadership is available to discuss these when requested.
Our Beliefs
- The Bible is God's full and final authority and the basis for living a satisfying and worthwhile life. We believe it and plan to teach its' truths to all ages.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
- We practice baptism by immersion and in baptism identify with Christ's death, burial and resurrection and make a life commitment to him.
Acts 2, Matt 28:19-20
- Communion, when Christians celebrate the Lord's Supper is a weekly occasion when we remember the significance of Christ's work and worship him.
Matt 26: 26-30 1 Cor 11:23-32
- God offers salvation to all and so a significant emphasis of the church must involve the sharing of the gospel truths with others.
Eph 21:10 John 2:16
- That the Holy Spirit lives in all believers at the moment they trust Christ, putting God's stamp on them, and making them part of His church which is His body on earth.
Eph 1:13-14
- In our church life we each have God given abilities that we can share as we build each other up in the Christian faith and have fellowship together.
1 Corinthians 12:7-11
- That the Lord Jesus is coming back again for His church, and then to set up his rule on earth.
